About the Item

Elegant and refined dressing table or entryway console, of Italian manufacture, dating from the 1940s or 1950s. The design of this furniture a style that combines elements of Art Deco and those of modern Mid-Century design. The frame is made of maple wood with a stained glass top with floral engravings. Beautiful psyche mirror that rests on the top and has a brass frame. We report that the mirror, still original, has a small chip. The console table has three drawers with brass handles as well as tapered leg tips, a typical detail of the period. The height of the console table alone is 72 cm, the height shown on the board includes the mirror. This furniture can be used both as a dressing table and as an entryway desk or console table. Overall fine condition.
