Classic relief plaque in a gold-coloured frame.
Originating from England in the late 20th century.
Subject: ‘The Entry of Alexander the Great into Babylon’, inspired by Bertel Thorvaldsen’s famous frieze.
Alexander the Great (356–323 BC) was a famous Greek military commander and ruler. At the age of thirty, he ruled over one of the largest empires in world history. That empire stretched from the River Danube to the Himalayas near India and Tibet.
Wedgewood Jasperware style in a blue and white colour scheme.
Made from a type of hard plaster.
