About the Item

Painted canvas, or decorative panel, depicting a woman from the 1950s, elegant wearing a suit and carrying a handbag in shades of beige. Artist’s monogram in the lower right corner. Work by a contemporary French artist. Dimensions: H 160 x W 100 cm Reference: LS6760A671/1 Raw linen canvas hand-painted with natural pigments and gold motifs made with copper leaf. The canvas is stretched using two wooden rods, the lower one of which is removable, allowing the canvas to be rolled up for transport. Can be combined with one or two other canvases painted on the same theme to form either a pair or a triptych (see photos).
