About the Item

Still life painting of roses in vase, signed "A. Silver" in beautiful hand-carved and gilt wooden frame. A typewritten square of paper reads: "Silver, Born: 1898" Country: Austria Subject: Florals and landscapes Studied: Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Royal Hungarian Art Academy, Budapest. For many years worked with the well-known prof. Kaufman. It is said that he inherited his talent from his mother, Maria. His paintings are now very much in demand by art galleries and collectors. It is a beautiful painting in a gorgeous frame with an interesting piece of paper attached to the back. With pieces like this one, mystique simply adds to the charm.
