About the Item

Elegant oil painting on canvas, embellished with a carved and silvered wooden frame. The painting depicts a study of a female nude, a typical drawing from the Academy of Fine Arts. The woman, seen in profile, has her hair tied back and her arms resting on a chair, the ends of which are not completed but merely outlined. This work is remarkable for its stylistic and figurative rendering, capable of lending elegance and a touch of antiquity to any setting. At the bottom right are the initials "G.
