About the Item

Robert Bénard (French, 1734-1794) Original hand-colored copperplate engravings published in ‘Tableau Encyclopedique et Methodique …’. by M. L’Abbe Bonnaterre, 1789 sight: 7 by 10 inches frame: 11 ½ by 15 inches Good overall with toning to mat board and paper. The frames have some wear and paint losses. The frame profile is very slim and the top edge of the glass can slip under the frame lip in handling (no risk of falling out). It is easily repositionable and will stay in place when hung.
