Published in Bern and Zurich in 1855, this commemorative folio was created for the 500th anniversary of Bern’s joining of the Confederation, marked by grand celebrations in 1853. The image presents an opulent triumphal carriage adorned with medieval armor, heraldic banners, and an array of Swiss regional symbols. The lithograph, masterfully crafted by H.
