Manufacturer: Manufacture Des Bruxelles Epoque: 18th century Style: Haute époque-Renaissance-Louis XIII- Biblical Condition: perfect condition (some small 19th century restoration has been done on this tapestry) Material: Wool Width: 193 cm Height: 213 cm Depth: 0.5 cm This Tapestry has been Cleaned and Lined by our artisan workshop - Velcro installation system Moses' Staff The Lord said to Moses, "Go and tell Aaron, 'Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt - let there be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, even in vessels of wood and stone.'" Moses and Aaron did as the Lord had commanded. Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff; water gushed out abundantly, and the community was able to drink and water their animals. However, in this story, which echoes that of the Exodus, Moses and Aaron express doubt about God's goodwill or power.
