About the Item

17th century Italian oil painting of an angel fountain signed by the artist. The painting is framed with an 18th century Italian hand-carved and gilded fragments adorned with lazurite gems and chalcedonian rosettes. This 17th century Italian painting shows a rare visible signature from the original artist and has been framed with coordinating 18th Century Italian gilded fragments. The pediment has been formed with the fragments, lazurite gems, and chalcedonian rosettes. Lazurite a deep blue mineral and semi-precious stone. Chalcedonian rosettes are natural, crystal formations with a delicate, flower-like appearance. The 18th century fragments and 17th Century painting are joined with the natural elements to create a rare, historical work of art to adorn any wall or grace any space.
