About the Item

Well-proportioned and richly aged, these antique wooden doors were salvaged from the entryway of a grand estate in Belgium or Northern France. Dated to c. 1830, the elegant doors are hand-crafted of solid European pinewood with beveled inset panels, original iron hardware and decorative molding in imitation of 19th-century architectural forms. Expressing the quiet simplicity of French Provincial carpentry, the tall doors bring warmth & texture to modern interiors with light tone and a softly worn patina.
