About the Item

A vintage gilded 720 silver Dutch East Indies coin charm pendant. The quarter guilder was minted in Philadelphia (P), for the 1941 P issue, 31,688,000 were minted in 1941. The obverse of the 1/4 guilder represents the Dutch coat of arms dividing the value, date 1941 at the bottom. The reverse shows a solar disk with 7 rays. The denomination inside the disk in two lines in Malayan and between rays in Javanese. The inscription of the lettering is: one quarter gulden. The gulden is in very good condition and has a nice gold color. The quarter guilder 1941 is made of silver 720/1000 and has a weight of 3.48 grams and a diameter of 18.9 mm. Charms are great to collect as wearable memories, it has a symbolic and often a sentimental value. They can be added to your necklace, charm bracelet or layered with your other favorites.
