Antique Victorian Sapphire and Old Cut Diamond Bracelet in Yellow Gold and Silver, circa 1890. A late 19th century jewel of floral and foliate design, featuring three mixed-cut oval and elongated cushion-shaped sapphires of a dark blue color and two Old Mine-cut diamonds, highlighted with smaller Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds. The bracelet is designed as five stylized clusters, each step-down collet-set with a dark blue sapphire or with an Old Mine-cut diamond, surrounded by similarly-set Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut or rose-cut diamonds; leading to thinner single-row diamond-set sections secured with a click-shut clasp and a safety chain fitting.
