THIS IS A STUNNING BEAUX ARTS RENAISSANCE REVIVAL BRACELET IN SILVER IN A GRIFFIN DRAGON MOTIF. This is a beautiful Beaux Arts - Art Nouveau - Belle Epoque bracelet in the Renaissance Revival style and dates to circa 1860-1900. The six silver panels depict a wonderful griffin or dragon in an open work design with branches leaves and flowers. The bracelet is hallmarked 800 for 800 silver which was the usual silver content in continental Europe in the 19th Century. The face of the griffin dragon is wonderful. The wings are absolutely gorgeous with finely detailed feathers. The tail and body of the griffin have fabulous engraved scales. The silver workmanship on the dragon bracelet is very fine with great detail. I love the three dimensional element of the jewel. The overall effect of the detailed silver work, and the griffin dragon motif in this early antique piece is truly magical. We have the matching necklace in another listing! What a fabulous piece for lovers of dragon griffin inspired jewels and all the Harry Potter fans out there! The bracelet is a very rare piece and is just a treasure. The bracelet is 800 Silver with the 800 hallmark on the clasp. The bracelet is 7.5 inches (19 cm) long and is 1 inch (26mm) wide. The bracelet weighs 24.7 grams.
