About the Item

This rare and incredible Mercedes Robirosa Paris cuff bracelet features a silver-plated metal cuff shape with a heavy looped chain design. The chains that form this spectacular bracelet are attached on one side to a crossbar. The chains are rigid and form the skeleton of the bracelet, and the ends of the chains are flexible and constitute the fringe charms. The bracelet is unsigned, but the chain design was one of Robirosa's favorite patterns, which she used in many jewelry pieces. Please note that this bracelet is heavy (1.1 lb or 538 g) and may not be suitable for women with small wrists or bones. Dimensions: The inside width is 2.44 in by 2 in (6.2 by 5.1 cm), the width is 4.07 in wide (10.3 cm), the opening is 1.50 in wide (3.8 cm), the charm's length is 5.13 in long (13 cm), and the inner circumference is 7.32 in long (18.5 cm). The bracelet will best fit an average Small wrist with a circumference of 6.5 to 6.88 inches (16.5 to 17 cm). Note: Mercedes Robirosa, of Argentine origin, was one of Yves Saint Laurent's favorite models in the late 1960s and 1970s. After participating in the catwalks of famous couture houses, Mercedes Robirosa started a career in jewelry design. Between 1982 and 1986, Karl Lagerfeld hired her to design and manage the Chanel couture and ready-to-wear accessories collection. In 1987, Mercedes Robirosa launched her jewelry line. Mercedes Robirosa's sense of fashion and design is evident in her jewelry, which features an earthy elegance with playful whimsy.
