About the Item

This is an unusual pair of earrings. The gold linear piece with the diamond shapes along with the faceted emerald and the hook on the end was originally an Indian hair clip. The three tumbled emeralds and 18K gold beads were added at the top along with the 18K gold post for pierced ears. The clip itself would have had a chain attached to it that connected to an earring at the closed end and the clip would have gone into her hair. A very cool piece of jewelry. The fine jewelry collection is sourced, designed or created by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. Through her international travels, she has cultivated prime resources for fine precious and semi-precious gemstones of unusual cuts in a variety of settings. Included in the collection are antique, high 22K gold pieces with intricate workmanship rarely found in the modern age. In creating the contemporary collection, Deborah works directly with artists and craftsmen to bring cutting edge jewelry designs directly to market.
