About the Item

These silver earrings are adorned with teardrop shaped amethysts which dangle beautifully along its wearer's neck. The earrings are part of Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe's world known collection Dew Drop, which she designed in the mid 1950s; a collection that has been described as the essence of elegance. The earrings have so-called screw backs, like many of the earrings during the early 1900s through the 1950s had. Do you know that Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe was good friends with Billie Holiday and that other famous wearers, besides Bille Holiday, were Brigitte Bardot, Juliette Gréco, Oona O´neill Chaplin and Ingrid Bergman?
