Vintage 32-Inch New Zealand Bowenite Beaded Necklace, Gold Plate Clasp

We are pleased to present this elegant vintage necklace composed of beautifully matched natural jade beads in warm, creamy honey and soft tan tones. The beads are undyed and untreated, displaying the rich opaque texture, soft natural luster, and organic character highly prized in antique jade. Each jade bead was individually hand-cut and hand-polished, revealing the craftsmanship associated with earlier Chinese jade carving traditions. Based on their age, texture, and workmanship, the beads are believed to date to the Qing Dynasty period (1644–1912). While the jade beads themselves are genuinely old, the necklace was restrung at a later date and fitted with a vintage 14K gold clasp for secure and comfortable wear. Delicate, solid 14K gold spacer beads between the jade add a refined touch of warmth and elegance, beautifully complementing the natural tones of the stone.
