This pretty and shimmering necklace was created in the 1930s by the English Ciro company. Condition Report: Very Good - Some minor aging to a couple of the paste stones. This is consistent with age and use and does not detract from the appeal of the necklace. The Details... This necklace is crafted from sterling silver - it is stamped 'SCP ENGLAND'. The necklace features a delicate cable chain and a central floral design set with small, round, colourless paste stones. Handmade Baltic Amber and Silver Bead Necklace, Late 20th Century Handmade amber bead necklace composed of 36 individually shaped and polished amber beads, graduated in size from approximately 8 mm to 20 mm. The beads are linked with silver connectors and finished with a silver clasp. Estimated net Amber carats is appx 260. The amber has been tested and confirmed as genuine, displaying a rich range of warm honey and cognac tones with natural internal inclusions typical of the material. The graduated bead arrangement gives the necklace a sculptural presence and allow it to sit lower on the chest when worn. The necklace measures approximately 40 cm in length as worn, falling at mid-chest, as shown in the photographs.
