An Egyptian revival Plique à Jour enamel Orus necklace Very beautiful and colorful piece made with Egyptian revival motifs from the ancient kingdom of the Pharaohs. The main focus part is the figure of a falcon with open wings in representation of the Egyptian god Horus. The necklace has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished and brushed finishes and is accented with applications of inlaid glass enamel. The wings are worked out with the difficult enameling technique of Plique à Jour. It is fitted with a push boxed security lock, with a hinged figure 8 for extra safety.
