Venus, the Roman Goddess of love, beauty, desire, prosperity and victory is depicted wearing a lovely laurel wreath in her hair. Vulcan, the God of Fire, son of Jupiter and Juno and husband to Venus, was a talented blacksmith who created jewelry, arms and armor, thrones and chariots for the Gods.
