About the Item

For sale is this cute "Plus qu'hier et moins que demain" love token. This love medallion of all love medallions was first created by the famous Lyon jeweller Alphonse Augis. He based this loving text on a poem of Parisian Rosemand Gérard. She wrote the poem in 1890 for her husband. Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t'aime davantage, Aujourd'huis plus qu'hier et bien moins que demain. This vintage pendant is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow gold. This medal is in-scripted with 'A. Augis' referring to the "inventor" of these stunning tokens. It is set with three rubies in the minus and a small rose cut diamond in the plus. This wonderful charm with texture background is hallmarked with a very recognisable Augis makers mark. This beautiful pendant is a true sign of love and therefore the perfect gift for the one person you love most.
