About the Item

Annette Bird bone, bead, shell and silver tribal necklace This whimsical necklace was made by Annette R. Bird (1925-2016), a well-known Southern California artist, sculptor, jeweler and founder of the Bead Society. She used her silver-casting skills to create five pendants which hang on this three strand beaded necklace. The central pendant of a man is 3 inches tall and the length of the necklace is 27 inches. This is a very collectable piece of brutalist jewelry that will surely be the subject of many conversations. The pendants are each etched on the back side in her script Annette Bird S/S (for sterling silver).
