About the Item

An antique ring box covered with the original brown leather, with gold swagged tooling to the top. It is square in shape, which by way of a push button, opens on a hinge, and flips up from front to back, revealing the interior. The inside top of the box is in cream silk, printed in black, reading “J.W. Benson, Ltd 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, London”. The inside bottom of the box, holding the ring compartment, is completed with dark blue velvet, with space to hold a ring. Circa 1915. The ring box is in good condition. The outside of the box has general wear, with some scuffing, and a split to the leather at one bottom corner. The inside of the box is in good condition. Box height: 38.5mm Box width: 38.5mm Box length, including hardware: 42.8mm Perfect for a proposal, or display and storage of a ring dear to your heart.
