About the Item

Legend tells of a time when swans could not fly and could only drift across the calm surface of a lake. One swan, captivated by the evening star, defied its destiny and rose into the sky, overcoming every obstacle in pursuit of an impossible dream. Though it never reached the star, it carved an invisible path toward aspiration and proved that the sky belongs to the brave. Inspired by this poetic myth, the centerpiece titled "Flight of the Swan" is a sculptural tribute to courage, grace, and transcendence. Each centerpiece is crafted exclusively for the client, with the possibility to tailor certain details and color palettes to individual preferences. Estimated lead time is approximately 5-6 months from order confirmation. The composition is built around a hand carved lemon jade stone, shaped to evoke fluid motion and light. The swans’ wings are adorned with stained glass enamel, while intricate ornamental elements feature hot transparent enamel on guilloché, creating depth, shimmer, and refined texture. Floral motifs are carved from mother of pearl and embellished with pearls and malachite, adding soft iridescence and a natural, organic contrast. The swans’ eyes are set with emeralds, giving the sculpture a vivid and lifelike presence. The centerpiece is crafted entirely from 925 sterling silver, 960 silver under the hot enamel details and finished in rich 24 karat gold vermeil reflecting master level metalwork and classical decorative arts traditions. With a height of 42 cm (approximately 16.5 inches), this substantial and visually commanding work is designed to serve as a statement centerpiece for luxury interiors, refined dining settings, or curated art collections. A rare and poetic object, Flight of the Swan unites mythology, symbolism, and exceptional craftsmanship into a timeless work of high decorative art. Additionally to the finished piece, the client will receive a complementary signed original design sketch prepared by the atelier and presented as part of the artistic process and provenance of the commission. We also create bespoke works on demand, transforming each client’s vision into a one-of-a-kind collectible. From the initial concept and hand-drawn sketches to the final sculptural masterpiece, every stage is guided by precision, artistry, and close collaboration, resulting in objects that are both deeply personal and artistically significant. Each piece is created within the Konforti family atelier, a multi-generational workshop led by Inga and Barak Konforti, and founded by master artists Ella and Yuri Bogoslavsky. Every work is entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques, sculptural metalwork, and meticulous stone setting, continuing a shared artistic legacy shaped across generations. Due to the size, value, and complexity of this monumental centerpiece, delivery will be arranged individually with the buyer through a professional fine-art and luxury object logistics service. White-glove handling, secure crating to museum standards, and insured delivery will be coordinated based on destination and preferred level of service.
