About the Item

A fine and impressive antique 1.02 carat blue sapphire and 0.62 carat diamond, 10 karat yellow gold and platinum set cluster ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 10k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated cluster design is ornamented with a 1.02Ct octagonal cut natural blue sapphire, collet set in platinum to the center of the design. The sapphire is encircled by an array of twelve individually platinum bezel set Dutch cut diamonds. This sapphire cluster design is encompassed with an octagonal shaped halo, ornamented with twenty-eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The elevated, pierced decorated tapering ring shoulders are ornamented with six further Dutch cut diamonds and integrate with the main setting, melding with the plain ring shank. This antique sapphire and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 10 karat gold and platinum. This impressive cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Condition This antique cocktail ring is fine quality, set with an impressive blue sapphire displaying fine color, brilliance and presence. The well color matched, very high color graded old cut diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. This Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
