About the Item

Old German Ruby and Diamonds Ring hand - made in ca. 1920s- 1930s. Metal is solid 18 Yellow Gold , hallmarked 750. Openwork crown measures 20 mm x 11 mm x 4 mm deep. All stones have open backs. Bezel set oval cut natural Ruby of vibrant pinkish Red color 5.75mm x 4.5mm x 2.2mm deep / ca. 0.7ct. Thirty - four natural rose cut natural Diamonds pave set Ø 1.25 mm each / ca. 0.015 ct each / total weight ca. 0.5ctw. Color ca. F,G / SI . Size: Ø US 7.25 / 17.45 mm. Can be sized for additional payment. Weight: 3.6 grams. Used fine condition, all stones well preserved. All Diamonds originals. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
