About the Item

A GIA certified 1.24 carat J VS2 pear brilliant-cut diamond and round brilliant-cut diamond shield-shape cocktail or dress ring in platinum, circa 2000s. A spectacular jewel of an Art Deco style shield design with pierced openwork and millegrain detailing, featuring a GIA-certified 1.24ct pear brilliant-cut diamond claw-set to the center, surrounded by 44 pave-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, to an open scalloped gallery, leading to a solid platinum shank with split open shoulders. This geometric cluster ring is beautiful from every angle, and it can be easily worn with both casual and formal outfits. Main Diamond: graded by the GIA as 1.24 carats, J color, VS2 clarity; GIA report 11267051 (the ring is not accompanied by the report, but the stone is laser engraved with “GIA 11267051”. Remaining diamonds: round brilliant-cut; approximately 0.70 carats in total; G/H color; VS/SI clarity. Portuguese import marks for platinum 950. Finger size: 54 (EU) but can be sized up or down. Gross weight: 7.7g. This item is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with general age and wear.
