It is transparent with a gorgeous color change from Blueish Green To Purple. Alexandrite is considered to be one of the rarest gemstones in the world. Most Alexandrite Gemstones weigh less than 1.50 carats. An Alexandrite of this size and quality is extremely rare and valuable. The color of this gemstone is strong, pure and clear, without any sort of muddiness.
