An alexandrite is prized for its natural ability to shift colors from a vibrant bluish-green under daylight to an alluring reddish-purple under incandescent light. Originally known as 'Emerald by day and Ruby by Night', the Russian source depleted centuries ago, new sources have been discovered throughout the world yet none rival the quality coming out of Brazil. Crafted in 18kt white gold, this ring features a beautiful 1.30 ct. emerald cut natural Brazilian alexandrite.
