Large sterling silver modernized interpretation of a Roman key ring referencing a ziggurat. A piece that expresses an appreciation for the past via the confluence of the roman key and ancient architecture. This is jewelry as metaphor with a punk execution and rock n' roll sensibility. The ring has been designed with a nod to antiquity; textured to appear lost to time and only recently unearthed. The RIMA JEWELS Roman key ring collection distills and updates some of Rocío's favorite key ring designs from the Roman era. Wealthy Romans wore functional keys made of bronze on their fingers to lock and unlock the private coffers safeguarding their valuables. Onlookers found this so sexy that they too acquired key rings though they didn’t necessarily correspond to a coffer, chest, or door. This is fashion. Rocío brings you these keys because there's more to reveal around this theme and phenomenon. For now understand that these keys do in fact correspond to something —something far more ethereal that if pursued with consummate care, from beginning and to no end, will barrel towards eternity.
