About the Item

An Edwardian hexagonal shaped diamond panel ring, the seven old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.8 carats in total, millegrain rubover-set to the centre of an open diamond-set cluster all set in platinum to an 18 carat yellow gold mount, circa 1910, head measuring 1.3x1.2cm, gross weight 3.5 grams. Finger size P This ring is in fine condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold and platinum. A simple and elegant diamond ring made in around 1910. This ring features an openwork hexagonal plaque set with seven bright and lively diamonds. The plaque is set on a white gold and yellow gold ring. The openwork design and simplicity of this piece make it a wonderful example of Edwardian jewellery. This ring comes from Bentley & Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III and would make a pretty engagement ring or an excellent ring for everyday wear.
