About the Item

Ring in platinum, mascaron hallmark. Curved shape, this voluminous antique ring is adorned with 2 antique brilliant- cut diamonds, separated by a kind of knot set with diamonds. On either side, 2 lines of diamonds border the jewel. All on a mounting decorated with openwork shuttles. Presence of a spring ring which can, if necessary, be removed. Total weight of 2 main diamonds: 0.90 carat approximately, Total weight of other diamonds: 0.36 carat approximately. Height: 16 mm, width: 18 mm, thickness: 9 mm, width of the ring at the base: 6.2 mm. Total weight of the jewel: 13.7 g approximately. US Size : 6 ; Free resize, please contact us. This rather beautiful Art Deco ring was made in France likely in the 1930s and features Old European cut and rose cut diamonds all set in a handmade platinum mount. The central diamond in the ring is a millegrain set Old European cut stone of G colour and VS clarity weighing an approximate 0.70 carat. Flanking this central stone are two further Old European cut diamonds which each weigh 0.15 carat and are each of G colour and SI clarity. The balance of the diamonds in the ring are rose cut stones which are each of G colour and SI clarity, and combined with the three larger stones have a weight of 1.14 carat.
