About the Item

Signet intaglio Ring featuring natural Carnelian stone with naturalistic and symbolic intaglio of a middle aged Woman - Wife , Mother or Sister measuring 10 mm x 5 mm . The body of the stone is dark Orange measuring 12 mm x 10 / ca. 5 ct. Very well done hand carving work - it makes fine impression on soft plasticine or seal wax. Back side of the stone is closed. Crown measures 15 mm x 14 mm x 4 mm deep. Unisex type,will look great on Men or Women if the size is right. This ring was made in Sweden ca. XIX - very early XX cent. There are hallmarks of maker on the band, 20K and Three Crowns - Swedish Gold control hallmarks. No Year combination hallmarks here. Size : Ø 8 US / 18.19 mm. No traces of past sizing. Sizing is possible for additional payment Weight : 3.7 grams In great used condition, stone with minor chip and micro scratches on its surface. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise.
