A Ring with hand- engraved ornaments featuring a bezel set natural Sapphire of Green color oval cut 5 mm x 4 mm x 2.3 mm deep / ca. 0.5 ct. accented with two natural Swedish River Pearls Ø 1.5 mm each. Sapphire stone demonstrates internal structure typical for naturals. Swedish hallmarks, maker's and 18K , Gothenburg, date code B7 / hand-made in 1904. Engraved " Af Mamma" / From Mother.. Size Ø 8US / 18.19 mm. Likely It was sized up in the past. Sizing is possible. Weight: 1.5 gram. In fine used condition. Stone with minor wear to facets. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described.
