About the Item

British Art Deco period Sterling Silver Spice Caster. British hallmarks : A BROS LTD, Adie Brothers Ltd,city of Birmingham,specific letter " H " for the year 1935 The firm was incorporated in 1906 joining the firms of McKewan & Adie (manufacturing jewellers, gold and silversmiths) and E.S. Barnsley & Co (box and packing case makers). In the 1960s the firm became part of British Silverware and closed in 1968. Fine used condition.Minor age and wear dents and minor scratches. Tight and firm grip between the lid and the lower part. Measurements : 7.7 cm long, Ø 40 mm / weight : 40 grams. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise.
