Rare 1940s Bulova Checkerboard Dial Wristwatch with Tonneau Case From the vault collection of our owner. Recently serviced by our master watch maker in Los Angeles. This timepiece features a striking and rare two-tone "checkerboard" dial in alternating segments of silver and copper, offering a bold and distinctive Art Deco aesthetic. Housed in a beautifully preserved yellow gold-tone tonneau (barrel-shaped) case, the watch exudes refined mid-century elegance. The watch features applied gold-tone Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and matching gold-tone hands.
