This model with an original dial is very dependable with great styling as well. The design of this watch is based on a theme created by Louis Cartier In the early teens when he saw giant tortoises supporting enormous columns in a Greek Temple. He immediately realized that in would be an elegant shape for a watch. Hence, the Tortue Watch. and the Tortue model is still in Cartier line, over 100 years later.
