Beautiful Soviet poster by Victor Koretsky (1909 - 1998) for Cuba. Among the photomontage poster artists of the 20th century, Viktor Borisovich Koretskii stands out as one of the most iconic. His prolific career in the Soviet Union began in the 1930s and ended in the 1980s, and his unique artistic style has influenced generations of graphic designers. During World War II, Koretsky designed propaganda posters for the war effort. Later, he designed the first Soviet postage stamp dedicated to World War II.
