About the Item

Brushed silver Dibond aluminum panel, Paul Gallaud is a French visual artist born in 1984 who lives and works in Croix, near Lille, France. After graduating with a BAC STI Applied Arts at the Institut Saint Luc in Tournai, Belgium, he pursued his career with a master’s degree in design Products. In 2020, he had the opportunity to develop a collection of vases and objects for a French Museum. His works have been exhibited in different galleries in France and abroad, notably in MUba Eugène Leroy Museum, at Abcynt and galerie bruno massa. As a visual artist, his work is part of currents such as geometric abstraction, Op Art and in-situ. He explores the material by playing with movement and geometric shapes, creating dynamic and evolving compositions. His process is inspired by logical or random sequences. Each transformation follows an algorithmic organization. His goal is to create a contemplative dimension, by inviting the viewer to interact with the work and bring their own interpretation. He thus seeks to offer a dreamlike and introspective experience, where the observer becomes an essential actor in the work.
