The Caged Head is a unique sculpture by Óscar Aldonza Torres that combines the expressive force of ceramic portraiture with the structural presence of forged iron. A modeled human head emerges from within a dense arrangement of vertical iron rods, creating a work that oscillates between portrait, architecture, and symbolic object. The iron framework functions simultaneously as enclosure and support, transforming the traditional sculptural bust into a spatial construction that invites multiple readings.
