Testa Gaiola 2 is a unique sculpture by Óscar Aldonza Torres that brings together a modeled ceramic head and an intricate structure of forged iron bars. Unlike conventional portrait sculpture, the work expands beyond the boundaries of the head itself, incorporating a surrounding architectural framework that becomes an essential part of the composition. The figure appears suspended within a complex network of intersecting iron elements, creating a dynamic relationship between mass and void, presence and fragmentation.
