Valverde personally selects and places neon text, a radiant declaration of 'dreams,' onto a tranquil lakeside pier. With an artist’s eye for the profound symbiosis between word and world, Valverde chooses the placement and font of the neon text to complement the natural serenity of the dusk-lit waters. The radiant blue of the evening sky mingles with the reflective surface of the lake, creating a seamless blend of color and calm, while the neon installation offers a striking visual contrast — a bridge between the viewer’s reality and the infinite potential of the dream world. The artistry of "Dream Deck" lies in its invitation to pause and ponder, prompted by the glowing invitation to dream, suspended just above the water’s surface. Valverde’s photograph is a carefully orchestrated composition that speaks to the dreamer within, suggesting that within the stillness of nature’s embrace, there is space to dream out loud. Since 2015, Valverde has been working on a neon light installation project in several countries, which she materialises through photography. A series about Iconic Monuments from Major cities like Paris, New York, Hong Kong, London, Dubaï… Writing with Neon brings together two passions for Anne Valverde: light and words thus incorporating her main medium of expression: Photography. Valverde brings artificial light to areas where electricity is absent, creating a dissonance in the landscape and an unexpected and dreamlike light, creating a new message, independent from preexisting signs and words.
