About the Item

This is a very good Jasperware stoneware Jardiniere or Cache Pot, made by Wedgwood, England and dating to circa 1930s. The jardiniere has a lovely shape, very much like a brush pot and is well potted on three small feet. The pot has a classical figures pattern, the figures being applied as relief moulded white sprigs, against a mid / dark blue matt ground color This piece is fully marked to the base with the upper case "WEDGWOOD" impressed mark, which we date to the 1930's period of the first half of the 20th Century. This is a heavy substantial piece weighing over 2.5 Kg unpacked. Overall a beautiful Wedgwood Jardiniere or Cache Pot.
