About the Item

Lovely Georgian mahogany knife box from England. The top is sloped and has a brass handle for easy lifting. The top lifts to reveal the original fitting for knives with remnants of the original velvet. The box has matching mahogany graining on the front which makes such a statement to the quality and craftsmanship used to make this box in the 18th century. The hardware is all hand cast. There are handles on the sides and the box is supported on lovely feet.
