About the Item

A beautiful handmade Postmodern ceramic trinket or jewelry box by Rita Duvall, similar in style to the work of Peter Shire and Michael Duvall. Glazed in white and rectangular in shape with perfectly angular lid painted with Memphis-inspired airbrushed shapes in peach, lavender, mint green, and teal. Two platform feet on the box are similarly painted with additional decorative glazing. In excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Signed on underside: "Rita Duvall 1987". 4.75" x 3.5" x 3.25"
