Exceptional Louis XVI carved and giltwood finished Cartel clock, surmounted with a double handled urn on carved platform above a later white painted dial with roman numerals and pierced gilt bronze hands, flanked by double torches- each with draping acanthus swags meeting behind carved lion’s mask which is set above a base of oak leaves with an acorn finial.
