About the Item

Charming and lively, this rare bronze sculpture depicts a school of fish, undulating in the ocean current, intermixed with seaweed rising from the sea floor littered with seashells, all finished in a lovely classic bronze patina highlighted in green and gold. Although unsigned, this sculpture clearly dates from the 1950s or 1960s. The bronze is set in its original wood base.
