The vase is the perfect detail for any style of interior from a traditional Scandinavian style of interior to a more modern style of interior or even a more Art deco style of interior. Just Andersen (born 13 July 1884 in Godhavn, Greenland, died 11 December 1943 in Glostrup) was a Danish corpus artist, silversmith and sculptor. Together with his 1st wife, Alba Just Andersen, founder of the world-renowned company Just Andersen A/S. Just Andersen was born in Godhavn on Diskoøen, located on the west coast of Greenland. His parents were inspector and probate administrator in North Greenland, Niels Alfred Andersen and Martha Elisabeth Ingeborg Carlsen, and he was one of eight children. Here, his creative gene was certainly stimulated and developed. Just Andersen, via his parents' profession and the period, grew up with a view of the world and in contact with research and explorers who later became famous and inscribed in history for their exploration and records of Greenland. Robert Edwin Peary and Knud Rasmussen are mentioned in archives from the family. Just Andersen apprenticed as a decorative sculptor with Hans Lamberg-Petersen for three years, visited the Academy of fine Arts' painting school in 1910, the School of Danish Crafts (Jens Møller-Jensen) in 1912 and the Academy of fine Arts again, but now the sculptor's school, in the winter of 1920-21. Through his 1st wife, he came into contact with Mogens Ballin, by whom he was inspired, and in 1918, he founded his own silversmith's company, Just Andersen. It became a limited company in 1929.
