About the Item

A pair of late 19th Century English Minton Majolica oyster plates with six oyster wells and a large well for crackers surrounding a center well for sauce. Luminous cream and pink glaze with pale green accents, small pink flowers and brown rim. Glaze is chipped and worn around rim. Mintons printed mark verso. Circa 1891-1912.
