About the Item

This mid century modern signed Michael and Frances early fused glass oblong tray is a modernist mosaic of forms and colors. it has the white hanging man as the signature dating it to the early work of theirs in the 50's. It is unusual for its large oblong size and color palette. Colored squares of different sizes and colors are arranged in random thought form. Tan, orange, light and dark green, red, etc are just some of the colors. It is more collectable because of the hanging white man in the corner. This is the larger version of this tray and on the rarer side now. Great for serving, barware or just a fabulous decorative glass object. They were a dynamic and creative husband and wife team who were artists from Riverside Il from the time. They are both no longer living. PLEASE NOW NOTE: AS OF JAN. 28, 2026 THIS WONDERFUL RARE GLASS WORK OF HIGGINS HAS BEEN MARKED DOWN AT OUR END FROM THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF $1,400.00
